Dear Lords and Ladies,
As holy Obedience requires (Apparently "someone" approached my Abbess about requiring this cruel task!) I will begin reviewing my diaries for the demanding task of telling you the history and ongoing saga of Brother Magnus and Sister Felicia. Although in humility one ought not boast of ones personal history, I believe it will be necessary to first disclose the history of the noble von Finsterwalder family. Perhaps this will give you a clearer understanding of the distress Cousin?/Brother Magnus causes one of my genteel nature.
Lent is fast approaching, Ash Wednesday will be February 6th and I will be on a silent retreat with my entire Abbey for three days. I shall gather myself and gird my loins for the difficult task of telling you this heart rendering tale. It shall be my principle penance for the Lenten season!
Blessings,
Lady Felicia von Finsterwalder
(Sister Felicia, Prioress, Darkwoods Abbey)
cc: Lord Francisco Langosta (my brotherly champion), included because of his ongoing concern for my well being in light of the heavy burden brother Magnus' behavior has upon me and Mistress Mary Ellen of Mille Lac, included because she is a benefactress of our Abbey and will be attending the Lenten retreat with us and can perhaps assure the Sisters that they are not the cause of my tearful distress.
